When you apply for financing (mortgage, credit card, auto loan, etc) a credit check is required. Credit is pulled from one, two or all three bureaus (Trans Union, Experian, Equifax). Bureaus sell this information (contact info, not sensitive info) to other lenders letting them know you applied for similar credit.

To prevent the spam calls and texts, you can request from each bureau not to sell your information. Below are the QR codes for each bureau (they are all hyperlinks as well).

A-Good-Deed reviews credit reports, but we do not pull credit on prospective clients. Credit can only be pulled by a lender (and A-Good-Deed is not a lender).
